The reason for my email today is to make you aware of the potential for race course changes due to flooding. Please see HERE https://www.zumbroendurancerun.com/zumbro-2023-potential-course-change/
If we have to transition to a modified course utilizing only trails on the East side of the river, we will move Aid Station 2 / Central to the Bridge site HERE https://goo.gl/maps/pUiqMyy9638GNeTg6 (this was the site of an aid station for many years). As of right now it looks like only those volunteers with 4WD would be able to drive into that aid station. Parking for the Bridge aid station is HERE https://goo.gl/maps/6uCSstcoRwn6Hx7v5 — IF the course is unmodified and Aid Station 2 is at Central as planned, only those with 4WD should drive into that aid station. If you are working that aid station and do not have 4WD, report to the Start / Finish area and check in with the HAM Radio Communications team, they will summon one of the people from the aid station that have indicated they were willing to shuttle runners to come get you, one of our logistics / supply folks will run you over, OR they will also likely be staffed well enough, that we can just use you at the start / finish area.
